Upon purchasing my Harley Fatboy,
I wanted to somehow express my pride as a Knights of Columbus member on the motorcyle. So, I created a
metal plate for my K of C decal and affixed the plate to it. Since then, brother Knights appreciated the uniqueness
of it and have done the same. As a result and without realizing it, the
"Knights on Bikes" was originated and then officially created in April 2005.
The Knights on Bikes fraternal members
(includes all makes, models and sizes of motorcycles) enjoy recreational riding. These
members are dedicated to improving the biker’s image, promoting safety, and Christian values.

If you are wondering what makes Knights
on Bikes so special, the following will explain the kind of feelings that we experience when several motorcycle-riding
brothers collaborate:
Ø Enjoying
camaraderie with different brothers of all councils, spreading the faith and word of the lord.
Ø Being
able to visit a brother Knight in other councils, cities, states, and being regarded as one of the family.
Ø Riding
in parades, visiting nursing homes, and reaching out to helping those in most need.
Ø At
the service of the Bishops, Priests and Catholic Parishes.
Ø Raising
money for the needy (“Fill the Helmet” fund at a well traveled intersection, Bike show, etc.).
Ø Endeavor
to formulate rallies and parades.
Who qualifies?
Ø
A member of any Knights of Columbus council through out the world.
Ø
Must own a motorcycle (of any kind) or anticipate owning a bike within 6
months.
